So long ago we had stood together Battling the waves that had torn us apart So long ago, you were the only one To strengthen the broken pieces of my heart I don't think you remember this now But you lied to make yourself portray another I brushed it off because I wanted to believe, All sentiments of doubt I chose to smother It doesn't matter now, but as I look back I realize you were not the one I had thought You were not the one I had ever wanted Not the person my eyes had first sought The ordeals we went through have seized And now we both find ourselves alone In this moment of solitude and desolation I remember the past and discover the unknown Remembering such, it makes my heart hurt This aching in silence leads to fatality And now I tread this vociferous riptide in the Fathomless ocean of omnipotent reality Now it hurts to know you had lied to my bliss Sent me stumbling down an eternal abyss And to find out I had now to reminisce I'm glad you never got my kiss!
